The next World Scout Jamboree will be here before you know it—July 27 to August 6, 2027, in Poland—and we’re looking for passionate adult leaders to help make it unforgettable for Scouting America’s youth. With more than 1,000 participants expected from the U.S., we need dedicated adults to serve as Contingent Management Team, Unit Leaders, and International Service Team members.

Empowering Our Global Scouting Impact – Philmont Training Center

Scouters now have a brand-new opportunity to earn the International Scouting Trained patch, approved by Scouting America leadership. This patch can be earned by completing the International Scouting course at Philmont Training Center, where participants dive deep into the history, structure, and mission of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM)—and discover how to champion Scouting’s global impact through safe and responsible leadership.

Choose your afternoon training track:

  • International Representatives (IR) Training – For current/prospective Council IRs and committee members who promote global Scouting opportunities at the council and unit level.
  • World Events Contingent Training – For Scouters interested in leading Scouts to global events like World Jamborees and Moots, covering everything from planning to promotion.
  • International Programs for Scouting America – For unit leaders ready to weave international values and activities into their local programs.
