Scout Days are special occasions that invite Scouts, their families, and friends to experience a variety of community events together. These gatherings are held throughout the year at venues across our council area and are open to all Scouts and their supporters.

What Are Scout Days?

Scout Days are unique opportunities for Scouts and their families to participate in local community events at a special rate, often with exclusive experiences or recognition for Scouts in attendance. These events are a fun way to build camaraderie, show Scout spirit, and connect with the broader community.

Baseball Opportunities

Durham Bulls Campout Nights

Location: Durham Bulls Athletic Park, Durham, NC

The Durham Bulls Campout Nights are a highlight of the summer for many Scouts. After watching the Bulls take on their opponents, Scouts and their families are invited to pitch their tents right on the outfield and enjoy a unique overnight adventure. The experience includes a post-game movie on the big screen, a commemorative patch for each Scout, and the chance to run the bases after the game. The Bulls offer discounted tickets for Scouts, leaders, and family members, making this a fun and affordable outing for everyone.

Salamanders Scout Night

Location: Ting Stadium, Holly Springs, NC

Join the Holly Springs Salamanders for their annual Scout Night, where Scouts are celebrated throughout the game. Woodpeckers Scout Night

The Fayetteville Woodpeckers invite Scouts to a night of baseball, camaraderie, and fun. Mudcats Scout Night

Soccer Opportunities

North Carolina Football Club (NCFC) Scouting America Night

Location: WakeMed Soccer Park, Cary, NC
Date: Friday, July 11

Scouts are invited to enjoy a night of professional men’s soccer with the NCFC. All Scouts receive a free ticket, and adult tickets are available at a discounted rate. The evening includes special Scout activities, group seating for units, and on-field recognition. It’s a great way to experience the excitement of soccer and connect with other Scouting families.

North Carolina Courage Scouting America Night
