Silver Beaver Class of 2024

Honoring Occoneechee Council’s Newest Silver Beaver Award Recipients

Scouting is built on a foundation of service, leadership, and dedication. Each year, the Occoneechee Council has the privilege of recognizing volunteers who have gone above and beyond in their commitment to Scouting, their community, and their faith. The Silver Beaver Award is the highest honor a local council can bestow upon a volunteer, a national recognition for those whose service has had a profound impact.

The selection process for the Silver Beaver Award is rigorous. It begins with nominations from fellow volunteers, followed by careful review from a selection committee. The final choices are then submitted to the National Council, Scouting America. This year, we are proud to recognize eight individuals whose dedication and selfless service embody the spirit of Scouting.
